Privacy notice

Sab लिंक (“we”) runs this website from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, India. We decide why and how your personal information is used, which makes us the “data fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Questions or requests: contact@sablink.in.

What we collect, and why

• When you book: your name, email, phone number, the number of spots, any coupon code, and a screenshot of your UPI payment. If you claim the student rate, a photo of your student ID. We use these to confirm your booking, contact you about the event, and check the payment.
• When you leave a testimonial: your name, email, phone number, rating, words and an optional photo. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name and email address from Google. With your agreement, your name, words and photo are shown publicly once we approve them.
• When artists share their experience: your Google name and email, your picture, the event you led and your words, shown publicly with your agreement once approved.
• When you contact us as a host or partner: the details you type into the form.
• Where you came from: when you arrive from a link (for example Instagram or WhatsApp) we note the page, the referring site and any campaign tags in the link, and keep them with a booking so we know which channel brought people. This is stored in your browser and with the booking, not shared with advertisers.
• Website analytics (only if you accept): Google Analytics counts visits and pages and sets two cookies. It does not run unless you choose “Accept” on the cookie notice.
• Protection from abuse: to stop automated spam we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address for a short time. We do not keep the address itself.

Who can see it

• The organiser of an event you book can see the name, contact details and payment screenshot of people who booked their event, to run it.
• Sab लिंक team members with a staff login.
• Services that help us run the site: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Resend (sending emails), Google (sign-in and analytics), OpenStreetMap (map tiles). They process data on our behalf.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed to run events, settle disputes and meet accounting and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise the personal details. Testimonials stay public until you ask us to remove them. Student ID photos and payment screenshots are never public and are only visible to the organiser and our staff.

Your choices

• Ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw a consent you gave (for example, to remove your testimonial or photo).
• Decline or change analytics cookies at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser; the notice will ask again.
• Name someone to act for you, or complain to us about how your data is handled — write to contact@sablink.in and we will reply as quickly as we can. If you are not satisfied, you can approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

Some events are open from age 11. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to make the booking and to agree to this notice on your behalf.

Changes

If we change this notice we will update the date above. Material changes will be announced on the site.
